Promotion of Art Sullivan to President and Chief Operating Officer
GBA announces the promotion of Art Sullivan to President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Global Business Analysis effective immediately. Art has been with GBA for nearly two years, serving as the COO and CFO. His new role within GBA is vital to the rapid growth we have been experiencing with new work in the Middle East and soon to be in Asia and Europe as well.

CEO David Shaw also announced the formation of the GBA Executive Committee which will assume much of the decision process for the global consulting firm as we assume more work and carefully expand in a highly diversified economy.

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
On 27 April 2008, Global Business Analysis (GBA) formalized a long standing agreement with the Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club (ADIMSC) to establish unlimited hydroplane racing in the Middle East and points international. The new joint venture organization, the Abu Dhabi International Boat Racing Association (ADIBRA) is established in Abu Dhabi and will be jointly managed by the ADIMSC and GBA. The first racing event in Abu Dhabi is anticipated to be held on 5 December 2008 in conjunction with the Formula One boat races and National Days. This inaugural demonstration of the “boats that fly” capabilities is sponsored by the ADIBRA and will feature racing teams from the American Boat Racing Association. The Abu Dhabi races will be followed by similar demonstrations in Dubai, Qatar and Oman.
The ADIBRA spokesman for this historic event will be the Motorsports Hall of Fame Member, Chip Hanauer. He is the second most successful Unlimited Hydroplane race driver in history. He has won the APBA Gold Cup a record 12 times and is the famous driver of one of the most famous boats in APBA history, the Miss Budweiser. He was inducted into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in 1995 as their youngest inductee. In 2005, he was inducted into the International Motorized Vehicles Hall of Fame.
