Nearly four decades of experience in aerospace, defense, government, and corporate organizational strategy, marketing and business advisory consulting. This experience is supported by expertise in global business intelligence, project / program management, business strategy articulation & mapping, corporate opportunity value analysis, supply chain optimization, performance management, and technology systems consulting & implementation.
Prior to joining GBA, David was an Associate Managing Director, Business Strategies and Intelligence for an international risk consulting firm, and prior to that, a Principal for a Big 5 accounting firm, serving as the Managing Director for Global Aerospace and Defense consulting. His background includes extensive experience in aerospace and defense (both defense and civil aviation); president and chief operating officer for two high technology systems integration companies; managing director for an international technology consortium; senior manager for two large financial consulting firms; and Managing Director of the PNW consulting practice for another Big 5 consulting firm. David was an adjunct professor teaching organizational behavior, business management, consumer behavior, and marketing at two major Pacific Northwest universities. David is also a highly experienced facilitator and has taught several different professional leadership strategy seminar programs.
David is a former Air Force jet fighter instructor pilot (150 combat missions), a highly experienced flight and industrial safety engineer, and a decorated USAF Officer (Retired). He is also a graduate of the USAF Inspector General School, several courses on threat assessment, counter-terrorism / counter insurgency. Professional associations include AIAA Associate Fellow, AIAA VP Finance, SAE, and AFA.
