GBA has considerable experience and expertise in this arena. Having teamed with the best and most experienced racing professionals in this business, GBA is positioned to transform the sport of unlimited hydroplane racing to an international venue deeply rooted in the century old sport history in North America. The GBA Team is working with global event managers and sports public relations firms to establish a new generation of event management while working to engage potential sponsors for teams and race sites in the North American and Middle Eastern racing circuits.

Powerboat Racing in the Middle East
GBA has negotiated a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club (ADIMSC) in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates to initiate unlimited hydroplane racing in the UAE and other Middle Eastern countries. Looking beyond this flagship enterprise, GBA is also focused on other associated countries already engaged in Formula One and Class One professional boat racing. Expanding this sport internationally portends enhancement of the sports prestige and viability by increasing team participation, sponsorships, spectators, media, and funding.
President’s Cup Regatta
Recently, GBA developed a multi-phased project for assessing the feasibility of producing the historic President's Cup Regatta on the Potomac in 2009. This unlimited hydroplane racing event originated on the Potomac River in 1926 and continued through 1977 when it terminated due to financial stress. GBA, in cooperation with the Unlimited Hydroplane Racing LLC, was commissioned to reinstate this event. Following an intensive assessment and analysis of the event, interfacing with the District of Columbia authorities, Congress, military officials, and the White House, focus was placed on Bolling AFB as the land venue and the Potomac River as the water venue. GBA and the UHR (who is this?) are moving forward to present the event for 2009.

GBA is actively engaged in upgrading competitive hydroplanes with newer T-55712 engines, creating a maintenance and sustainment package under a global leasing arrangement to Team Owners that will move unlimited hydroplane events into mainstream international sports venues.
